FC Barcelona announced plans for the their upcoming 2011 summer tour in the United States. The tour will feature matches against European Giants, Manchester United and AC Milan. The tour will be cap off in Dallas against Club America, August 6th at Cowboys Stadium. FC Barcelona will feature several players from the 2010 World Cup Championship team Spain. And Lastly, the odds on favorite to be the 2010 Player of the Year winner, Lionel Messi. The 23 year old Messi will be coming back from a month long campaign in July for the Argentina National Team's Copa America campaign ... more details to come

The Barça preseason tour 2011 has been decided. The team are returning to the United States, where they will play three games. They will also play friendlies in Munich (Germany) and Split (Croatia).The spokesman for the board, Toni Freixa, announced the summer plans for Pep Guardiola’s side, which will suppose and income of €6,200,000 for FC Barcelona
European games and tour After travelling to Asia, South Korea and China last year, the squad now return to the States, where they already went in 2009 and 2008. Before going to America, Barcelona will play two games in Munich’s Audi Cup and one in Split (Croatia).
The following are the games to be played this summer, although the European fixtures are against undecided opponents:
► 21 and 22 July: Audi Cup matches (Munich)
► 25 July: Friendly (Split)
► 30 July: Manchester United v FC Barcelona (Washington)
► 3 August: AC Milan v FC Barcelona (Miami)
► 6 August: America of Mexico v FC Barcelona (Dallas)
