Dallas Texans alum Conor Doyle's big decision
Dallas Texans alum , Conor Doyle, is about to make a big decision. The Creighton University freshman has been on trial with English club Derby County FC this past month. This is the second summer Conor has spent with Derby County. Derby County manager Nigel Clough has given Conor rave reviews. It is now the decision of Conor and the Doyle family whether to give up his Creighton University scholarship and accept the 2-year deal with Derby County to embark into his professional career at the young age of 18. Conor, son of Irish born and former Dallas Sidekick David Doyle, was a member of the successful Dallas Texans 92-Academy team winner of 2008 U.S. Youth Soccer National Championship and 2009 Dallas Cup U-19 division.
