18 year old Conor Doyle has finalized a two year deal with English Club Derby County FC. Derby County FC is a 2nd division soccer club in the English football system. Following other resent Dallas Texans Jared Jeffrey, Lee Nguyen and Greg Garza into the professional ranks, Conor was part of the Dallas Texan team that featured All-American Zach Barnes, Dallas Morning News player of the year Ryan Aubrey and Indiana University recruit Blake Wise. The Mckinney Boyd graduate enrolled into Creighton University this January in time for spring soccer. Conor left for Derby, England this summer on his 2nd summer training stint with DCFC and was regularly featured in preseason fixtures with the first team. "Conor is only 18 but when he plays, he doesn't look 18. It is incredible the way he has slotted in," said manager, Nigel Clough. All signs point to Conor receiving his international permit in time for the start of the English League Champions season against Leeds United this Saturday.
