An early season showdown between the 1st place Dallas Texans in both the U18 and U16 age group versus the 2nd place FC Dallas Academy in the U17/18 and 5th place FC Dallas Academy U16 in the Texas Division of the U.S. Soccer Development Academy league. Game time 2pm for the U18’s and 4:30pm for the U16’s (subject to change). Arguably, this is or will be the top two North Texas boys program for years to come. Both clubs have produced produce D1 college players and young professionals. Both Dallas Texan teams have bolted out of the gate with a strong a 4 win 2 draw record. FC Dallas Academy U18’s sports a 3-1-1 record tabbed as the early season favorites in the Texas Division. The U16 FC Dallas Academy started slowly out of the gate with 2 losses but has found their stride winning the last 3 games in convincing fashion. Last year's U18 teams from both clubs competed in the 2010 Dallas Cup Super Group. It would be interested to see if some or all of FC Dallas home grown signees will be available for the U18 game.
